Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Scottische d'Auvergne (France). Also taught tonight: Anadanadanada (from the Levant: Lebanon; Syria and surrounds).

March 9 (Sunday)

Chubritza, in Coquille, OR. Coquille Community Building, 115 N. Birch St, Coquille, OR. Chubritza, a wonderful folk band from Arcata, CA, will be the live music for an afternoon dance, 1pm to 4pm, sponsored by the South Coast Folk Society. $10. Because the dance is in the afternoon, it should be possible to easily get there from the Willamette Valley and return home the same day. More info: posted when we get it!

Dance On The Bay, North Bend, OR. All events will be held at the North Bayside Grange, 67577 E. Bay Rd, North Bend, OR. A day of dance workshops with Gigi Jensen (Latin American folk dances) and Roo Lester (Basque, Scandi, and more dances). Evening eclectic folk dance party with live and recorded music.
