NW Folk Dance Special Events

Oregon

Veselo Folk Dance Festival, Eugene.
Each year Veselo features a nationally-known folk dance teacher, teaching sessions on Saturday and Sunday, performance on Saturday, Saturday night party with live music and great after-party food, and Sunday review session.

Hoolyeh Annual Folkdance Party, Philomath, Oregon.
Once-a-year reunion party at the Marys River Grange in Philomath. Five hours of dancing to long-time favorites! Usually held late in April. Check their website for this year's date and times.

Balkanalia!, a bit east of Portland, Oregon.
A three-day overnight camp that focuses on teaching and celebrating music and dance from the Balkans. All the details can be found on their webpage.

Washington

Northwest Folklife Festival, Seattle Center, Seattle, WA. Dance and musical performances, art, handmade crafts, lots of food, folk dancing, and fun! 11 a.m. to Midnight. [Boots 'n Basses] Ti Ti Tábor
Ti Ti Tábor, a Hungarian dance and music camp, is held from one Sunday through the next in August at Raft Island, Washington.
