Exams: There will be two fifty minute exams given during regular class periods:

First Midterm: Friday, February 1st;

Second Midterm: Friday, March 1st.

Final Examination: Monday, March 18, 10:15-12:15

Grade: Your course grade will be based on your homework, two midterms and the final exam.
The relative value of these components is as follows:
Homework - 20%, Midterm 1 - 20%, Midterm 2 - 20%, Final Exam - 40%

Remark: It is required to bring your University ID card for the midterm and the final examinations.
You may have two cards 3x5 inches with any formulas you wish during the midterms and the final exam.
No cell-phones and computers during the exams!

Homework: Homework will be collected on Wednesdays. The first homework due to January 16. I do not accept late homeworks. For each homework assignment, I will choose a subset (10 problems) of the assigned problems to be graded. The last homework will not be collected and graded.
