Of the thousands of students,
faculty, and staff that drive to campus everyday, only 32 cars have
a reduced-rate carpool parking pass. Drive to work alone? Consider bringing that number up to 33!
Quick Facts: Carpools for the 2004-2005
school year
A carpool parking pass costs $84 a year for the vehicle.
Carpool parking permits are transferable from vehicle to vehicle.
To register as a carpool, participants must fill out a form listing their home address and a commuting destination that is located in the university neighborhood.
UO users can find carpool buddies from their neighborhood by registering with our carpool database. The data base only connects you with people who live in your neighborhood and travel to campus at the same time you do. Addresses will not be given out.
A carpool consists of three or more people, at least two of whom must be affiliated with the university.
If registered
carpools arrive on campus before 9:30 in the morning they
can visit the 13th Avenue kiosk for a hang tag which allows
them priority parking along 13th Avenue between Agate and
Kincaid Streets.
Carpool parking permits are available from the Transportation and Parking Services.
