June 16 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Karmir Nur, an Armenian dance from the 2026 Veselo Festival, taught by Tineke van Geel. Here is the dance description and a video of the dance. Note: this video uses the same music we learned the dance to, but there's not much of the dance to be seen. Instead, an entertaining story is told during the video. Check it out! August 13 - 16 (Thursday through Sunday): Scandinavian Festival in Junction City, OR. Four days of fun, food, crafts, music and dance on multiple stages throughout the town of Junction City. Each day will feature a different Scandinavian country (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden). 10am-9pm Thursday through Saturday, 10am-8pm Sunday. More info: Junction City's Scandia website.

September 4 to September 7 (Friday through Monday): Balkanalia! at Camp Angelos, OR. Four days, three nights of fun, dance instruction, food, and music over the Labor Day weekend, east of Portland, OR. More info: Balkanalia's website.
September 12, 13 (Saturday, Sunday): Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire, Kings Valley (north of Corvallis). Shrewfaire website.
September 21 (Monday): Combo Dance Group Party, 1:00pm - 2:30pm. The Eugene Folk Dancers join with the Folk Dancers with a Flair (a.k.a. Folkdance Forever, the Campbell Community Dancers) at the Campbell Community Center, 155 High St. (EFD will pay EFD dancers' admission.) Campbell dancers came in droves to our 75th Anniversary Party last year, now let's return the favor and show up in droves for them!
