December 3 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Vrtielka Csardas (Slovakia).
December 10 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Stiga Mi Sa Momne (Bulgaria). Also taught tonight: Lech Lamidbar (Israel).
December 17 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Le'or Chiyuchech, couple's version video with dialogue in Hebrew, and syllabus of the couple's version.
December 24 (Tuesday): No dancing tonight, Christmas Eve.
December 26 (Thursday): Kef Holiday Party, Eugene Garden Club, 1645 High St, Eugene, OR. Kef (Balkan Brass Band) makes merry from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Music, Dance, and Refreshments. $10 cash at the door. A flyer with all the details.
December 29 (Sunday): Veselo dances for the last time at In-Shape Fitness, 2681 Willamette St, Eugene, OR. In-Shape is closing down at the end of the year, so this will be the last dance for Veselo in this location. Come to the party tonight ($5) and help them celebrate their last night in this space! See January 5 entry, below, for info on their new location.
December 31 (Tuesday): No dancing tonight, New Year's Eve.

January 5 (Sunday): Veselo Folk Dancers start the new year with a new location: The Vets Club Ballroom (2nd floor), 1626 Willamette St, Eugene, OR. January 14 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Ciganskoto Horo (Bulgaria). Also taught tonight: Jambolsko Pajdusko #1 (Bulgaria).
January 21 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Radomirsko Horo (Bulgaria). Also taught tonight: Le Laride (Breton).
January 28 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Freeford Gardens (Modern English Country Dance), video and description, with an animation showing dancers positions throughout the dance. February 4 (Tuesday): Eugene Folk Dancers at Eugene Friends Meeting, 2274 Onyx St, Eugene, OR. 7:30 - 9:30pm. $5-$10 sliding scale. Taught tonight: Bugeacul ca pa Teleorman (Romania). Also taught tonight: Anadanadanada (Arabic?).

March 1, 2 in 2025 (Saturday, Sunday): Veselo Folk Dance Festival, Vet's Club, Eugene, OR. Michael Ginsburg teaches Balkan dances on the Club's springy wood floors. Live music on Saturday night! More info: Veselo's website
March 9 in 2025 (Sunday): Chubritza, in Coquille, OR. Coquille Community Building, 115 N. Birch St, Coquille, OR. Chubritza, a wonderful folk band from Arcata, CA, will be the live music for an afternoon dance, 1pm to 4pm, sponsored by the South Coast Folk Society. Because the dance is in the afternoon, it should be possible to easily get there from the Willamette Valley and return home the same day. More info: posted when we get it!
March 29 in 2025 (Saturday): Dance On The Bay, North Bend, OR. All events will be held at the North Bayside Grange, 67577 E. Bay Rd, North Bend, OR. A day of dance workshops with Gigi Jensen (Latin American folk dances) and Roo Lester (Basque, Scandi, and more dances). Evening eclectic folk dance party with live and recorded music.
