Blessing

Written and painted on Arches hot press watercolor paper with paint and powder gold.

The text is by Marcia Falk and says in English:
"Let us acknowledge the source
of life for the earth and for nourishment.
May we conserve the earth that it may sustain us,
and let us seek sustenance for all who inhabit this earth."

Blessing of children by parents

May the Lord bless you and keep you

Written on Arches hot press watercolor paper with blue gouache.
The Hebrew text is the blessing of the congregation
and is also used as a traditional blessing of children by parents.

Traditional English translation:
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU.
MAY THE LORD CAUSE HIS SPIRIT TO SHINE UPON YOU AND BE GRACIOUS UNTO YOU.
MAY THE LORD TURN HIS SPIRIT UNTO YOU AND GRANT YOU PEACE.
