Graduate teaching fellows: To be announced

Field geology is a 10 quarter-hour six week course (16 June to 27 July) attended by students from the University of Oregon and other universities. The course emphasizes the gathering of geologic data in order to produce high-quality geologic maps, geologic structure sections, and detailed stratigraphic columns.  Each project emphasizes problem solving in geology. The training and background acquired by students in this course is essential for careers in geology, mining, petroleum, and environmental and engineering sciences.
