TERRAIN MODEL

1. Draw a 2D rectangle as above.

2. Next draw 2D contour lines. (Open lines must go past the edges of the rectangle, and closed lines must be contained within the rectangle.)

• Contour lines should be drawn consistently in the same general direction.

• To check the direction of lines go to "display options" under the "Display" menu.

 

• Choose the "Wire Frame Options"

 

• Check off  "Show Direction"

• The lines will show up with arrows indicating their direction.
