The University of Oregon is recognized nationally for its remarkable ability to manage such a high ratio of people to parking spaces with a significantly lower transportation budget than many universities of similar size. In addition, the University of Oregon has developed and implemented a successful and all-encompassing bike plan, and is one of the few universities in the nation where bicycle spaces outnumber those designated for parking.
