Assignment 8: Portfolio
Objectives:
To use rendering to make your modeling projects look their best.
To produce a polished portfolio of images
OPTION 1: Revision
Show that that you can control lighting, point of view and materials by re-rendering your weakest images. Look at photographs and paintings to get ideas about lighting and point of view.
Use Photoshop to reduce file sizes through color depth (image mode) and through image size. Resize images to give consistency to the page.
OPTION 2: Alternative Output
Create a GIF Animation, VRML or QTVR file and link it into your Web page. An animated GIF called "picture8.GIF" will link automatically.
For the ambitious:
Study HTML and customize the graphic design of your web page. See if you can make it easy and pleasant to browse through your images. Highlight your strongest work.
Final hand-in date: Work must be posted by Monday July 27, 9 am.
