BUDGET

Funding will primarily support a student assistant and equipment and secondarily support travel for brainstorming and dissemination. The student assistant will help develop web-based expert examples, prepare course material and document lessons learned from the class. Equipment needs include scanning pens, paper and an updated Web server. We currently have two Io pens purchased as part of a separate grant. These will be used by the instructor and the assistant.

Logitech Io scanning pens (15 * 200) = $3000

Server to share information: $1500

Software and consumeables: $500

Research Assistant wages: $4000

Travel - advisory group meeting, conference travel: $1000

Total: $10,000

An equipment donation from Logitech is being sought. If successful, funds allocated to equipment would be used to support additional research assistant wages.
