1915: Popular Opera House leased to Gazette times. 1915: Second City Park established with the purchase of 12.5 acres of land in the southern part of town. 1917: State highway commission began work. 1917: Steamboat traffic to Corvallis was discontinued. 1920: Fillmore street sewer and laterals laid. 1924: Paving to Albany completed. 1924: Country club was established for golf in order to keep peoples minds off the war. 1933: Passenger Trains to Corvallis gave way to bus lines services. |
