1892: City made contract for ten blocks of paving. 1897: Corvallis creamery established. 1899: Jefferson street sewer installed to eighth and ninth street for college collection. 1900: Corvallis stopped being a principle flour mill city. 1906: Corvallis obtained water supply from foothill slopes of Mary's peak. 1900: Corvallis stopped being a principle flour mill city. 1906: Corvallis obtained water supply from foothill slopes of Mary's peak. 1910: First paving done in Corvallis on Second and on Madison Streets. 1910: Corvallis Central Park High School building (pressed brick) completed. 1910: Van Buren street sewer project came into use. 1912: Electric railway service began and lasts for 20 years. 1912: Masons built lodge on the corner of third and Madison, this was influential in the expantion of business into the district of third. |
