Preferred PC Hardware Vendors
List

OK, now NetPeople, my comments are my own observations.
I would not make them without some basis for having done so. The comments
DO NOT WARRANTY ANYTHING. The Preferred Hardware Vendors List does say
these vendors have been around for a while, and they do generally good
business with their customers. This list only grows (or shrinks) as
fast as your contributions to it. Vendors will be added and removed only
as a result of your comments. Only customer praise will gain a vendor's
placement on this page. It also takes more than a single comment from more
than one customer.
If you note that this page is not updated that often it
is because those who use it really are not contributing to it very often.
Vendors only get added to this page as a result of positive customer reports
on vendors. Seems that people are only too happy to find the list (I get
a number of notes of appreciation), but far fewer make comments positive
or negative on preferred vendors or new applications to the preferred list.

Fry's Electronics, CA. Large discount chain. - Fry's is included
in this list only because they are so often noted for great prices. Buyers
should be aware before buying that Fry's is a chain of stores that does
not (as far as I know) provide any appreciable level of support should
you have difficulty. Return policies are apparently not always what you
might want. Still good prices for those who know what they are doing. Not
a place for the uninformed. Some merchandise is not high quality. I'm
