Gwen Steigelman has been appointed Assistant Vice Provost
for Academic Affairs. She will continue to serve as Secretary of the Senate
and Secretary of the Faculty.

Award Committee regarding a recommendation for an honorary degree. This
will be considered in executive session at the January meeting of the UO
Senate.
