This is what we looked like when moving to Oregon in 1995. We felt even worse than we look, though maybe not any grainier.
At Steve Wilson's house.
Some rather old now pictures of my kids (mostly 1995-96).
By popular demand, some newer pictures (maybe spring '98?).
Pictures from summer '98 primarily.
- Don't wanna move when I feel like this, blow me a kiss.
- Emile does his Norman Rockwell bit.
- Another warm day at the beach (we lasted about 45 minutes). Coast Guard. Or is it Marconi?
- With great-grandpa (he's 95 in this photo).
- You might almost think they love each other.
- Help, I'm falling into hot lava!.
- "I can get a wonderful new aunt at a beautiful beach, and still look grumpy..
- Anya, Emile and the "famous Nigel Ray elements" (Suzanne and Kirin) and spiderman..
Also some of Anya's recent art.
The alien series
- Once there [was an] alien.
- This alien is quite alien indeed.
- This alien was supposed to have a body, there just wasn't room.
- These aliens are not that different from people, but you should notice that the aliens only have one arm, and it is very long. Unfortunately, they seem to buy their clothing on earth, and probably from the J. Crew catalog.
- This alien looks suspiciously like Sue.
- Anya's answer to Munch. This alien is apparently hurt in some way.
Other art
- My father's day card. Here is one side, and here is the other. That is me and Anya, in case you can't tell from the labels, and we're swimming, which I really shouldn't need to explain!
- Our family; I'm the one with only one eyebrow. This drawing is probably from late 1997.
- A frog, drawn and colored here.
