N. Christopher Phillips, A.B. (1978), Ph.D. (1984), California, Berkeley

Phillips, an analyst who works in "non commutative topology", has primary interests in operator algebras and K-theory. The author of over 20 research papers, Phillips is currently studying non commutative homotopy theory and questions in C*-algebras. He has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at MSRI and was an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA.
