- Page 81, equation (4.18): the definitions of Jb and ψb each should be multiplied by a factor of (-1).
- Page 82, equation (4.19) line 5: should be +g44(Kb-Jb)2+g45(Kb2-Jb2)+g55(Kb+Jb)2 instead of +g44(Kb+Jb)2+g45(Kb2-Jb2)+g55(Kb-Jb)2
- Page 97, Figure 4.8: the data depicted in this figure becomes invalid due to the changes in (2), (3) above.
