The ancient Footbridge at the Eddie Mine was made from logging cables wrapped around snags and covered with solid planks. It was the easy way down to the riverbank, the only way across in winter, and very slippery in the rain and snow. Rolls of tarpaper, recycled lumber, a piano, woodstoves and animals have all been carried across this footbridge to the Pyramid or Treehouse
