CNN World News Report:

The Russian Federation ordered the Chinese army to leave Russian soil but the Chinese were subsequently prevented from leaving by other Russian units. Masheed Alaquaar of the Union of Arab States gave a speech today expressing what he terms "the growing international concern" about the recent decision of two of the world's superpowers to re-enter the nuclear era. CNN/Nike World News report March 20, 2103:
The Turkish government-in-exile issued a retaction of its statement yesterday which blamed the Kurdish separatist movement for the nuclear explosion which destroyed Turkey earlier this month. The government in exile acknowledges the British origin of the nuclear device, but still added "that it is consistent with Kurdish tactics" that they separatist movement may have enlisted the aid of the British and Russian military forces.

Several of the world's leading environmental organizations reported that the regions of nuclear devestation -- once though limited to only a few waterways -- have spread to substantially populated land areas. The alliance of environmental groups warned of potentially severe social and economic consequences if the spread of the destruction is not halted or even reversed. CREED (The Committee for Responsible Economic and Environmental Development, an international trade organization) refered to such reports as "typical anti-business, alarmist drivel" and urged further study rather than "knee-jerk" reactions to these few recent unfortunate events.

A statement from the EU:

We are pleased to announce that the previous oppressive regime that has held Europe in its grip for the last five years was overthrown in an almost bloodless coup last evening. The TWD fighters have temporarily assumed control of the EU government until such a time that democratic elections can be held. The leading ambassadors of the European Union and The South American Alliance concluded talks this morning with a press release. In it they announced that full cooperation and friendship has been established between the two superpowers. Trade barriers will be systematically reduced and "the long years of international warfare are behind us forever". A top team of historians has been appointed to write new editions of history texts explaining how the establishment of joint world control to the new South American and European Alliance actually improved world conditions for the majority of the world's population. An expert committee will be shortly appointed to determine the best course of action with respect to the roughly 48% of the earth's surface which is currently uninhabitable owing to the recent conflicts.
