Teaching Assistants:  Robin Beebee and David Adams

• Labs will be held in Columbia 47 on Thursdays at 8:30-10:20 and 1:30-3:20.
• You should be registered for one lab only and attend the same time each week.
• Because the afternoon lab has significantly more students than the morning session, we encourage those people with flexible schedules and early morning minds to switch to the 8:30 lab.
• It may be difficult (read, impossible), however, for anyone to switch from morning to afternoon.

Format:

• This syllabus lists the assignments for each week.
• The lab text is the Laboratory Manual in Physical Geology, Busch and Tasa.
• Please come prepared having read the exercise prior to lab for that day.
• Lab assignments will be collected the following week.
• If time is spent wisely, labs projects can  be completed in the time allowed and late assignments should not be necessary.

Grading:

• This lab is worth 30% of your total grade and will be composed of 8 graded lab exercises (10% each) and a lab final (20%).
