Welcome to the web page for the sociology
course “Workers, Consumers and the Global Economy,”taught in Spring 2001
at the University of Oregon. This course was designed as part of Professor
Michael Dreiling’s research on the anti-sweatshop movement in the U.S.
That research, as well as this class, is funded by the Wayne
Morse Center for Law and Politics as part of its thematic year on Labor
in the Global Economy. You can link to either the summary of this research
or directly to the draft paper with coauthor Brian Wolf. Below you
will find links related to the course.
