Nilotic Language Research Network . . . . . . . . . .

The Nilotic Language Research Network is an international group of linguists who are actively studying Nilotic languages.  Network goals are to increase the quantity and quality of linguistic work on Nilotic languages, and lay the foundation for cross-family searchable databases.

Funding for this project is partially provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation, under grant BCS-9809387 to the University of Oregon, as a supplement to an ongoing Maasai text and lexicography project under the direction of Doris Payne.
