We’ll explore techniques while completing many jewelry pieces. Tuesday evening section will focus on casting, using wax work, investing and model burnout. Wednesday section will focus on jewelry fabrication, including design, cutting, filing and soldering. 21 hours of instruction. Term pass required. Two sections:

Stone Setting

This demonstration based workshop will introduce intermediate metalsmiths to the art of stone setting. Techniques such as bezel, prong and flush setting, as well as tool selection and use will be covered by your expert instructor. 6 hours of instruction. Term pass required.
