1932 Flashback
Bing Miller, the other elder statesman on the All Stars at 38, was known as a ‘ball player's ball player'. Crediting his strong legs for his long career he hit .311 over 16 seasons retiring in 1936. As a contact hitter he had a strikeout rate of just 5.47%, leading his Athletics to three World Series.
