TITLE: Geometric Skew Howe duality and sl_2 categorification

ABSTRACT: We'll describe how sl_2 categorification is useful for constructing equivalences of categories. In particular, we will describe an explicit (and, in our opinion, interesting) equivalence between derived categories which occur naturally in both geometric representation theory and in knot homology. This is joint work with Sabin Cautis and Joel Kamnitzer.
