Reading for Monday: Chapter 13, Groundwater Systems, p. 323-241.  Read through the section on caves to make sure you understand the interplay between groundwater erosion and deposition.  Note that figure 13.12 shows only one of several ways that cave systems form.  Then, read carefully pages 333-340.  What is happening in the Everglades?
 

Wednesday, February 16  Finish groundwater

Reading for Wednesday: Chapter 14, Glacier Systems, p. 342-352.  Take a good look at figures 14.5 and 14.6, as they show why and how glaciers move.  Also, why donít crevasses extend all the way to the base of glaciers?
