Find a website for your favorite musician or group at one of the following sites:

The Ultimate Band List: alphabetical search by artist or band.

Yahoo's list by artist - click on the first letter of the group's name, or look at the complete listing (the complete list takes time to load).

Find an interesting article on the MTV website.

Then

• Listen to a song.
  • Write down as many words as you can.
• Find the words to a song you like.
  • Save them in the word-processor.
  • Find three words you didn't understand and write what you think they mean.
  • Explain why you like it.
• Find a good picture of your favorite musician or group.
  • Write down some information about them.
  • Explain why you like them.
• Read an article on the MTV website about music news.
  • Write down the main idea and a few interesting details.
