The Noetherian Ring
A group of women in mathematics at U.C. Berkeley.
The officers for the 1996-97 academic year are
They meet once a week during the academic year.
Each meeting begins with a half hour of refreshments and discussion.
There is also a half-hour math talk, usually given by one of the members.
Usually, the meetings are Thursdays, from 5PM to 6PM in room 939 Evans Hall.
There are no meetings during the summer.
If you are interested in receiving an announcement about meetings in the fall,
or giving a talk at one of the meetings,
please send email to nring@Math.Berkeley.EDU.
Also, once or twice each semester, they are able to invite a
woman mathematician to give a one hour talk at their department
colloquium.
