Project Summary  

Location: Addition to Villard Hall/Robinson Theatre, 1109 Old Campus Lane

Size: 25,000 gsf of new construction (one addition); renovation of costume shop and black box theater (approximately 2,000 gsf)

Expenditure Limitation and Total Project Budget: $7,900,000 ($3,950,000 in G-bonds and $3,950,000 in gifts)

Project Description

The proposed $7,900,000 project will expand and remodel the current facilities to create an integrated complex of three theaters plus lobbies, shops, studios, and other teaching spaces needed to teach theater arts. Anticipated size: 25,000 gsf of new construction (one addition) and renovation of the costume shop and black-box theater (2,000 gsf).

Construction began in November 2007 with anticipated completion in 2008.
