Proposed site:  Project relocated to the northeast corner of the Arena Master Plan area. Property is bordered by E. 13th Avenue and adjacent to Hamilton Residence Hall.

Size: 60,965 gsf of new construction

Legislative Authorization: 2003 Legislature - HB 5028

Expenditure Limitation: (HB 5028) $21,200,000 gifts; plus (SB 5506) $9,975,000 F-bonds, $6,825,000 "other funds"

Total Project Budget: $38,000,000

Project Description  

In 2003 the Portland firm Fletcher Farr Ayotte, Inc. (FFA) prepared a conceptual study for a facility to house the Alumni Association, UO Foundation, and Development offices. The new 60,965 gross square foot facility provides a healthy, collaborative working environemnt for the departments and accommodates a variety of meeting and social spaces that serve as a welcoming center for alumni, students, and other friends of the university. it is a place that conveys the university's rich history and traditions along with its creativity, ingenuity, and innovation. It showcases alumni, recognizes donors, and inspires current and future students.

The grand opening and dedication was held on June 10, 2011.
