Hi ,Nathan. Hope things are going well as the academic year comes to a close.

As you will recall we have had several discussions over the last year about 2003 planning activities for PEBB. At the last Faculty Senate meeting I attended, I committed to sending you updates from the Plan Design committee as soon as they were available for Public Comment. I have attached several documents that were released on June 4th for a Plan design Public hearing. These documents contain overviews of Options that are being discussed currently. The Plan Design committee is accepting comments and feedback over the next two weeks. The Committee is expected to make final recommendations to the Board on June 18th. Since the Board has not made any final decisions and we are in negotiations with the carriers, we are not releasing any information about the rates at this time.

One other note, the public hearing on Tuesday was very well attended .The majority of testimony was related to part time employees. Several of the employees who testified were from the UO campus.

Please let me know if you need more information. The Board would encourage comments and suggestions.
