Academic Honesty

To ensure that students learn as much as possible about their own writing and have the best opportunity to develop writing and thinking skills, it is the ethical, intellectual, and legal responsibility of all students in composition courses to submit written work that is the product of their own intellectual inquiry for each particular writing class. Students are expected to be familiar with the provisions of the Code of Student Conduct regarding academic dishonesty (on the Student Judicial Affairs website at Student Judicial Affairs website), which are strictly enforced in composition classes.
