declined the position. Elections for treasurer are tabled for next fall.
Graduate Symposium (Liz Parr, Committee Chair)

- She is researching rooms to reserve and dates that do not
conflict with other symposiums.
Art Collecting Project (Violet Clark,
Committee Chair)
- She has been in contact with the visual arts department
and will hold a competition. The winning piece of art will be added to
the collection
- The competition is tabled until next fall because it
conflicts with the visual departments final reviews and art history paper
deadlines.
- She calls for ideas for prizes (cash award, gift
certificate for supplies, restaurants, etc)
End of the Year Party
- Rather than an informal picnic like last year, we will
have a more formal reception in Gerlinger Hall.

easier to communication during the summer
