Every other year, the University Theatre commits one of its main stage slots to an original work collaboratively created by a team of students and faculty. In spring 2007, John Schmor will be leading students and faculty from the departments of Theatre, Dance, and Art into devising an experimental work on the theme of anonymity in our current culture, from the anonymous “characters” played in virtual chat-rooms on line, to the political questions of privacy and citizenship in this age of high-speed information.
This original production invites you to participate in moving through a variety of spaces inspired by the fun-house and peep-show. A theatrical labyrinth that may include some content or imagery possibly not suitable for children under ten. Please note that ticket reservations will include assignment of an entry time on the hour, with the event opening at 8pm and closing to new visitors after 10:00pm.
