CLEP and Credit By Exam Tests

The CLEP exams are a set of nationally standardized exams, available in a number of different subject areas. Passing scores and actual course equivalencies are determined by each college or university. CLEP exams are scheduled by individual appointment and cost $80.00 per exam. CLEP exams are accepted for credit at over 2800 colleges and universities, including the University of Oregon. Call us at 541-346-3230 to schedule a CLEP test.

The University of Oregon Testing Center is an open CLEP center which allows us to test anyone interested in earning college credit through the CLEP exams. CLEP exams are administered on a computer using software that permits immediate scoring. See the links below for information about the exams, including test descriptions, outlines, and sample questions. Each College or University determines its own qualifying scores, so before taking a test, please check with your institution to see if the new passing scores have been set.
