If you have never worked with GTFs before or wish to know more about how to maximize the potential (and minimize the problems) of this working relationship, join us for this presentation
and discussion.
We will focus on providing guidance, the value of grading rubrics, how to best support effective teaching, handling problems that arise, using midterm feedback for improvement, working with international GTFs and other issues and concerns contributed by participants.
Graduate School staff will discuss the implications of working with unionized GTFs, giving particular attention to performance evaluations and progressive discipline guidelines.
