Spotlight on Good Teaching
The Teaching Effectiveness Program staff often has the opportunity to work with teachers who are doing an outstanding job in the classroom and have developed strategies around university teaching from which many teachers might benefit. "Spotlight on Good Teaching" will highlight these teachers and the thoughts they shared.Please let TEP know of other teachers on campus who have good teaching ideas to share with colleagues.

Karen Kelsky, assistant professor in anthropology, had never taught a large class before last year. However, it hasn't taken her long to figure out how to make her large introductory courses (350 students) feel and behave like a small class.
