Joining Two Parties

The Joining Two parties feature allows you to connect parties on two different buttons together. This is typically used when you hold a call and then page/radio or signal another user to call you, and then need to connect the two parties together. This feature only works of at least one of the two calls has called you.

1. Place both callers on hold.
2. Presses either of the two lines you wish to join.
3. Press the CONFERENCE button (which automatically replaces the party on hold)
4. Ignore the dial tone you will receive.
5. Press the button of the second party you wish to join.
6. Press the CONFERENCE button a second time.
7. Both parties and you are together.
8. Hang up -- the two parties can continue to converse.

On Single line phones: FLASH, RECALL, TAP, & R all indicate the same button. Any single line set without this button will have to use the Switchhook button instead.
