The University of Oregon is celebrating the 30th year of the Super Summer program for high achieving students completing grades K-5. Applications and registrations are due May 21st.
Junior Counselor Leadership Program
For 11-12 grade students (under age 18) who are interested in developing and praciticing leadership skills, the Summer Enrichment Program offers the Junior Counselor (JC) Leadership Program.

This year's theme: Dim Sum - the Art of Chinese Brunch
Learn about this uniquely Chinese way of dining that is a favorite among many.

Language Skills:
*Learn how to order food in our mock Chinese restaurant
*Practice conversation with native speakers
*Read & write Chinese characters
*Meet with students of similar ability for language lessons

Intermediate students will have the opportunity to do further work with character recognition, reading and Chinese keyboarding on the computer.

Cultural and Art Activities:
*Learn about regional Chinese food culture
*Make and eat dumplings
*Calligraphy and brush painting
*Learn Chinese rhymes and songs

Field Trip: Travel to an Asian market for fun and food!
