The Lab Exercises

The lab exercises are considered critical components of this course. Their intention is to allow each student to explore and clarify theoretical issues presented in the lectures. This should be accomplished through the comparison of physical, mathematical and computer modeling. Each medium has distinct strengths and weaknesses which should be discovered and exploited in the exploration of the architectonic issues.

Every lab exercise has a description on this page. They may be altered by your lab GTF at the beginning of the session, so it is critical that you arrive promptly. Assignments are due no later than the beginning of the following lab session unless otherwise announced by the GTF. Clarity of thought, presentation and description of the principles involved with each lab are crucial to a successful lab report. Each student is responsible for ensuring that the lab reports are received by their GTF on time.
