• The web is meant to be a accessed via screen, as opposed to print. It is not possible to deliver these lists in a 100% guarenteed compatible format for all browsers, hardware and software platforms unless an additional piece of software, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, is installed on your computer. We attempted to publish a set of lists in Acrobat format, and while that worked well for some users, the vast majority experienced technical difficulties that we were not equiped to assist with. Hence, these lists are provided in HTML format, which look great on the screen, but may produce eratic results when printed.

• These documents are designed to be printed and have a uniform appearance on most commonly available Laser and Deskjet printers. Due to the wide variations and possibilities of configurations available, each printing page is on a seperate web page. It may be necessary to customize your browser settings to print the pages correctly.

• In order to facilitate clean printing, Navigation buttons are not available from the food lists. It will be necessary to use your browsers BACK button to return to this page after reading/printing each page.

• Setting up your browser:
  • It is recommended that you use the latest version of browser that is available for your hardware platform.
  • Check for the Netscape or Internet Explorer websites for the most recent browser.

• Set the page margins:
  Left: 0.75"
  Right: 0.25"
  Top: 0.5"
  Bottom: 0.0" - 0.1"

To set Netscape, V4+

choose File --> Page Setup -->

1) Set the margins
2) Uncheck all the option boxes for printing page numbers, URL's etc.

If a page does not print on one sheet of paper, you will need to adjust the default font size.

1) Choose Edit --> Preferences --> Appearance --> Fonts.
2) Set the variable width font to Times New Roman (or your favorite) and decrease the font size by one point. The page should print OK if the font size is 11 or smaller.
3) Attempt to print the page again. If it still does not fit on one page, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

To set up Explorer, v4+

Choose File --> Page Setup

Set the margins

If it is necessary to change the font size, use the "A" fonts button on the toolbar or the pulldown menu:

View --> Fonts.

• If you have any difficulty viewing or printing the lists, please first try to get assistance from a local computer expert, such as the child down the street :-). If that is not fruitful, please drop me a note, describing the exact problem you are having, including information about your computer, operating system, printer, and browser software.
