Welcome to the website for the NCSA (Northwest Council of Study Abroad) program in Macerata Italy for January 10 to April 20, 2002. This program is unique among Italy programs in that it takes place in a university town almost free of tourists, yet three or four hours by train from Rome, Venice, or Florence. In this program students have the opportunity to share apartments with Italian students, and study Italian at all levels, as well as Dante, Modern Novels set in Italy, Painting, Art History, and Modern Italian History, in English.
