Required Application Procedures (2 steps)

Step 1. Apply online to the University of Oregon Graduate School

  • Go to the UO Graduate School's online application page at: http://gradweb.uoregon.edu/online_app/application/guidelines.htm
  • Requires $50.00 (U.S.) nonrefundable application fee, paid by credit card or eCheck
  • Copies of official transcripts (except for University of Oregon), both undergraduate and graduate, showing all degrees earned must be submitted to:
    UO Admissions Office, 1217 University of Oregon, Eugene, OR 97403-1217.

Step 2: Submit the following materials by mail to the School Psychology Program's Academic Secretary (Academic Secretary, School Psychology Program, 5261 University of Oregon, Eugene, OR, 97403-5261)

  • School Psychology Program admission application form (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)
  • A curriculum vita or resume detailing education, work experiences and relevant personal information
  • A personal statement describing goals and purpose in seeking admission to the program, especially relating to the University of Oregon School Psychology Program
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation, with at least two of these letters from persons familiar with your educational background (use School Psychology Program letter of recommendation form)
  • Official Transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) from all colleges and universities attended
  • Official GRE (Graduate Record Exam) Score Report (the Advanced Psychology Exam is not required)

Note: It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm that the program has received ALL admission materials by the deadline. The program will not notify applicants of incomplete files. Late materials will not be accepted. Applications must be RECEIVED and COMPLETED (including letters of recommendation and transcripts) by the January 5 deadline date in order for an applicant to be considered for admission for the following academic year.
