Analytical Modeling

Nonparametric Techniques

Professor Richards focuses his research on ratio study methodology and nonparametric tests. He has published articles concentrating on analytical modeling and nonparametric tests, especially for the analysis of small samples.

Professor Richards consults with man y firms and industries on the West Coast, including Bank of America, Pacific Power and Light, Portland General Electric, Willamette Timber Systems, Simpson Timber Company and the Federal Trade Commission. He has developed analytical modeling and sampling applications and has also delivered in-house management training seminars on sampling techniques. Professor Richards is a member of the American Statistical Association and the American Institute for Decision Sciences.
