Printers in the math department:

• Deady mezzanine: At the moment there are three printers on the mezzanine:
  • deadymezz = deadymezz.uoregon.edu = 128.223.96.52
    This is an HP LaserJet 2420.
    • From noether: (one sided) deadymezz (two sided) deadymezz2
    • From a Mac:
      • Print your document by choosing
      • File -> Print
      • then click on Printer:
      • and scroll down to "Bonjour" or "Rendezvous" Printers and
      • select deadymezz.
      • Duplex printing can be done as usual by selecting "Layout" from the "Copies & Pages" menu and choosing the appropriate option.
  • Deadyhp2055 = deadyhp2055.uoregon.edu
    This is an HP 2055.
    • From a Mac:
      Print your document by choosing
      • File -> Print
      • then click on Printer:
      • and scroll down to "Bonjour" or "Rendezvous" Printers and
      • select deadyhp2055
      • Duplex printing can be done as usual by selecting "Layout" from the "Copies & Pages" menu and choosing the appropriate option.
      My computer didn't have a driver for this printer. I downloaded and installed one from HP, from here.
  • ddcol = ddcol.uoregon.edu = 128.223.96.64
    
    This is an HP 3600.
    • This is a color laser printer. Please only use this when needed for work related stuff - talks where you need color slides or color pages for overhead transparencies, or teaching where you have the same need. Don't use it to print your vacation pictures!
    • This printer can be reached from a Mac under Bonjour printing with the name ddcol.
    • This printer can duplex, though the menu for reaching that is different than our other printers. But since you are only using this when you need color, it may be that it never comes up that you want both color and two-sided printing.

• Deady 2nd floor mezzanine:

  Math Faculty 2 = ddfac2.uoregon.edu
  From noether or shell: ddfac2

• Deady basement (faculty only):

  deadybas = deadybas.uoregon.edu = 128.223.96.53

  This is an HP LaserJet P2015.
  • From noether: (one sided) deadybas (two sided) deadybas2
  • From a Mac:
    • Print your document by choosing
    • File -> Print
    • then click on Printer:

    • select deadybas.

• Fenton 333: there are two printers. The main one is
  • FentonHP2300 = fentonmath.uoregon.edu
    This is an HP 2300
    • From noether: (one sided) fmath or fentonmath, (two sided) fmath2 or fentonmath2.
    • from shell: (one sided) fentonmath, (two sided) 2fentonmath.
    • From a Mac:
      Print your document by choosing
      • File -> Print
      • then click on Printer:
      • and scroll down to "Bonjour" or "Rendezvous" Printers and
      • select FentonHP2300
      • Duplex printing can be done as usual by selecting "Layout" from the "Copies & Pages" menu and choosing the appropriate option.
  • FentonFaculty = ffac.uoregon.edu = 128.223.96.47
    
    This is an HP P3005.
    • From shell or noether the computer is named ffac.
    • From a Mac look for the printer by the name FentonFaculty under Bonjour printing. The procedure for duplex is as above.
