FIRST NORTHWEST CONFERENCE ON SLAVIC LINGUISTICS

The first Northwest Conference on Slavic Linguistics, co-sponsored by the University of Oregon,the University of Washington, and the Oregon Humanities Center, will be held on Saturday, May 17, 1997, at the University of Oregon, in Eugene. The purpose of the conference is to provide a national forum devoted specifically to Slavic linguistics which includes all areas of theoretical linguistics and philology.
