FUNCTIONAL ROMAN NUMERALS

Determine the key of each of the following examples, and name the chords individually in lead-sheet style, by writing the appropriate chord symbol above each chord. Next, place tertian Roman numerals (including Arabic position numerals) immediately beneath each of the chords. Finally place functional Roman numerals beneath the tertian numerals. Be sure to consult the flow chart in the syllabus for each of the chords you identify in order to ascertain its functional Roman numeral.
