Your assignment is to write and hand in all of the following:

A one-paragraph description of your topic and the historical question you've decided to ask in your research paper.

A List of primary sources related to your topic that you can use to answer your historical question. Attach a photocopy of one of your primary sources to your list (one page will do). When listing your sources, be specific. If you're going to use published primary sources, list the titles. If you're going to use manuscript materials, list the collection names and locations.

A List of at least 5 books and/or articles on your topic that will be included in your bibliography of secondary sources. List the author, title, date and place of publication. For more information, click here to see Secondary Sources.
