To get to Eagle Camp Trail Loop, drive east of Oakridge on Highway 58 for about 15 miles. Just past the railroad trestle, turn left onto Eagle Creek Road 5883. Stay on this road, passing junctions with Roads 378 and 379, until you reach Road 381. Turn left on Road 381. The little pond here makes a nice place to camp.
Go up Road 381 for about 0.75 mile. Where the road ends, two trails begin. Park here. If you immediately head down a steep trail, youçre going the wrong way. This is a hiking trail that leads into the Waldo Lake Wilderness--a no-go for bicycles!
The path is a little vague through an old clearcut, but stay on the ridge, going northwest. This single-track trail takes you through mountain hemlock and silver fir forest, gradually changing to Douglas fir at the lower portion of the trail.
You will pop out of the timber into an old clearcut with a series of tight switchbacks that lead to an old logging road. Soon, you will reach good gravel on Road 379; go left (south) and downhill. In about a mile you will reach Road 5883; go left (east), and grind away for a couple of miles back to the car.
Keep in mind that the mosquitoes can be nasty most of the summer, so September is the best time to ride here. This area has several nice side options. You can ride or drive to the west Fuji Mountain trailhead. There are also several logging roads you can poke around on. If you arrange a car shuttle, you can ride to Gold Lake from the west Fuji Mountain Trail.
